A considered process from the outset
Every procurement begins with understanding what you are looking for — the piece, its intended setting, dimensions, budget and what matters most.
From there, we manage the search and the practicalities, keeping you involved at each decision point.
01 — Brief
Tell us what you are looking for.
A sourcing brief can be very specific or relatively open.
Send us whatever you have: dimensions, photographs, plans, inspiration imagery, preferred period or style, intended placement, quantity, budget and timing.
You do not need to have every detail resolved before we begin.
02 — Source
We search beyond our collection.
We work through our established network of dealers, markets, fairs, private sellers, specialist suppliers and European artisans.
France and Italy are central to our sourcing, with a wider European network available when the brief requires it.
For pieces that are difficult to find online, being on the ground and knowing where to look can make all the difference.
03 — Consider
We bring you the strongest finds.
When we find something worth considering, we provide the information available so you can make an informed decision.
Depending on the piece, this may include:
Photographs · Video · Dimensions · Condition · Origin · Materials · Price · Our assessment
If further information is required, we go back to the dealer or maker before you proceed.
Nothing is purchased without your approval. You approve the piece. We manage the moving parts.
04 — Procure
Once approved, we take it from there.
We coordinate the transaction with the seller or maker, negotiate where appropriate and arrange collection into our European logistics network.
For multiple purchases, pieces can often be brought together and consolidated before international freight.
05 — Ship
Europe to New Zealand.
International procurement involves more than buying the piece.
We coordinate the practical journey, including:
Collection · Packing · Consolidation · Export · International freight · Import requirements · Delivery coordination
Where appropriate, purchases can be consolidated with other pieces to create a more efficient route to New Zealand.
06 — Finish & Place
Some pieces arrive ready to place. Others need work before they are ready for their new setting.
Through our local specialist network, we can coordinate services such as:
Rewiring · Upholstery · Restoration · Refinishing · Specialist handling · Delivery · Installation
The requirement depends entirely on the piece and the project.

One Piece or an Entire Project
Our procurement service can begin with one very specific request or form part of a much larger project.
It might equally be for bedside tables, antique hardware, garden urns, a dining table, architectural elements or the final decorative piece.
The size of the brief is not what matters. Finding the right piece is.
