Welcome to Paris!

We meet and greet with your fellow guests and tour hosts, Anne & Tamara over evening canapés and Champagne in the trendy and charming Marais district, in a well appointed luxury hotel, our home for the next 2 nights.

We start each day with a delectable breakfast at our hotel. We explore Le Marais and venture to points of interest in this bustling 4th arrondissement of Paris.

We start the day with a French breakfast and checkout before we depart Paris for Provence with our private host and driver.

We stop along the way in charming villages to stretch, browse and have a delightful lunch before arriving in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, where we will be in antique & brocante heaven for the next 5 nights.

Our transport is in comfort, and being a small group (max 9) we are able to stop as and when we wish along the scenic route to our destination.

Approx travel time 8 hours. (subject to change as we stop at sights we simply cannot miss)!

We arrive in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a charming Provencal town 25km southeast of Avignon, where we stay for the next 5 nights, in the beautifully appointed Grand Hôtel Henri.

This European antiques capital is known as the ‘Venice of Provence’ for its stunning green waterways and wheels, once used to power mills, factories, and workshops during its textile and paper making industry era, it is proudly one of the 3 points on the ‘golden triangle’ (London and Paris the other points) as an International antique destination.

We will arrive at a most incredible time of year, for the annual Easter International Antiques Fair. The town will be full of festivity and discovery, brimming with antiques, food, art and excitement! You can expect over 500 antique dealers!

We arrive in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a charming Provencal town 25km southeast of Avignon, where we stay for the next 5 nights, in the beautifully appointed Grand Hôtel Henri

We settle in and experience their world of antiques, galleries, food & wine! We guide you to the must see local hot spots, with optional visits to nearby attractions in the Avignon area. Think castles, museums, hill top villages, artisan boutiques, paper mills, vineyards... there is a long list of day trips we can coordinate based on your interests.

Your antique and art purchases at planned dealer and gallery visits, have our support, we are by your side to negotiate & coordinate your purchases & shipping home, nobody should be limited by a suitcase!

Your hotel is a haven to rest and reinvigorate as you need. These days will be a balance of food, art, culture, brocante & antiques!

Stopping to eat delicious Provençal fair, we have a leisurely return to Paris, arriving for dinner & perhaps solo time to explore the nightlife! Beautiful accomodation in Le Marais once again provide a central and lively area to be based.

Get ready for big days ahead, of antique dealers & more Parisian experiences!

There will be time to go solo and get a little bit ‘lost’ in Paris if you wish!

We immerse ourselves in the antique culture of Parisover these days, the pièce de résistance? Visiting the world famous ‘Les Puces de Saint-Ouen’ Antique Market. 100's of dealers offer diverse styles, era’s and price points. It is a unique experience you may want to explore and stroll at your leisure, regrouping onsite fora lunch (the best onion soup we have ever tasted). Options of activities in Paris are many!

Perhaps shopping tour of Galeries Lafayette, a walking pastry tour of Le Marais or creative workshops... an activity menu will be provided ahead of the tour to ensure you experience YOUR best Paris. Saturday ends in style with a Dinner Cruise along the Seine River. We will relish the iconic scenery, Champagne & French cuisine, sharing in many stories of our adventure together! 

Today we say ‘au revoir’, but not before one last sumptuous French breakfast and a warm farewell!

Whether you are staying on to continue travel, or heading back to NZ, we look forward to connecting back home, providing ongoing support of any treasures being shipped home through to delivery to your door.

Of course a wrap up and photos of the tour will be sent to you so you can relive this and get excited about the next trip!
