An elegant pair of antique French fauteuils inspired by the refined neoclassical lines of the Directoire period. Crafted in beech and finished in a beautifully aged soft blue-grey paint, these armchairs feature graceful spindle galleries, scrolling arms, finely turned legs and hand-woven cane seats.
Their restrained architectural form is quintessentially French, offering a sophisticated alternative to the more ornate Louis XV style. The combination of delicate proportions and timeless craftsmanship allows these chairs to sit comfortably in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Whether placed in a bedroom, entrance hall, living room or library, they make a refined statement while remaining wonderfully practical. The softly weathered painted finish and natural cane introduce warmth, texture and authenticity to any space.
