A beautifully atmospheric original French exhibition poster for Pierre Fournel’s Les Chemins du Temps (“The Paths of Time”), held at Vendôme – Rive Gauche Gallery, Paris, in 1987.

Rendered in rich earth tones and layered texture, the composition evokes an ancient landscape suspended between archaeology and abstraction. The earthy palette of ochres, siennas and warm browns makes this a particularly versatile piece, sitting within both contemporary and traditional interiors.

This example retains the authentic signs of age that collectors appreciate, including original creasing, edge wear and gentle imperfections acquired over nearly four decades. These have been intentionally left untouched as part of the poster’s history and character.

A sophisticated piece for lovers of French graphic design, post-war exhibition posters and minimalist European interiors.
