DESCRIPTION

A pair of vintage Italian ceramic jugs, originally made for olive oil or table wine.

Each piece is formed in earthenware with a glossy green lead glaze over the upper body, left exposed at the base to show the natural terracotta. The soft, angled glaze line and slight variation between the two reflect their handmade origin.

The form is traditional — narrow neck, pulled handle, and shaped lip for controlled pouring — designed for everyday use and still visually relevant now.
