We pack and ship to your door in NZ, from a small item to a house lot of antiques and architectural elements. Our partners are specialists in this field, carefully selected for cost, reliability and ‘product suitable’ packaging.

    Our local experts alongside us will guide you to the right vendors to discover your perfect piece. We are on hand to advise, negotiate and get the goods home to you safely and with no size limits!

    This 9 night all inclusive* Antique Buying Tour is suitable for the solo traveller, couples or groups be it business or pleasure.

    Twin share from NZD$12,500 per person* OR Single from NZD$ 13,500* per person

    Completely private and bespoke tours can be arranged POA. This may suit designers with clients or clients who have a big project within residential or commercial space.

    Owners Anne Martin and Tamara Martin-Brown are a mother and daughter duo who have many years of experience in Landscaping, Furniture, Retail and Hospitality. With decades of passionate travelling, event and tour hosting, a highlight has always been uncovering exquisite objects and furniture from around the world. Now with combined experience and a shared passion, Founders of Rome Antique Buying Tours commence!

  • Luxury Transport

    Tours will start from Florence, where we will collect you and transport you to our 'Antique Home Base'. You will be transported in comfort from Florence to the private Tuscan Villa, exhaling and feeling instantly inspired as you arrive and take in your stunning home for the next week.

    Transport to organised trips and private appointments (upon request) will be via fully air-conditioned and modern vehicles with an experienced driver.

    We are passionate about antiques; the craftsmanship and many layers of history each piece has to tell. We also understand everyone has a different taste, style, purpose and budget!

    We round out the ‘antiquing’ with a full experience packed with laughter, great food, beautiful settings, fascinating characters, inspiration, new friendships and connections to cherish.

  • Payments

    Upon email confirmation of the places required, we will confirm the availability and provide a final quote. Upon acceptance an invoice for a deposit equal to 20% of the total trip value is issued.

    Payment methods available are major credit cards and direct bank transfer.

    The remaining payments will be 40% 10 weeks from the trip start date, and the remaining

    40% 6 weeks from the trip start date.

    A cooling off period of 10 days from date of deposit is allowed. At 10 days after the initial deposit, unless notified directly to us via email, the deposit will become non-refundable.A copy of full terms and conditions will be supplied.
