A striking pair of authentic antique courtyard doors retaining generations of naturally weathered paint and their original hand-forged iron grille work. A little departure from our usual French and Italian pieces but how could we resist?!

Displaying beautiful layers of faded turquoise, cream and warm earth tones, these doors possess the rich patina that only decades of exposure and use can create. The original iron latch and vertical bars add further character and authenticity.

Originally crafted for an Indian courtyard or haveli, they would have provided security while allowing airflow and light to pass through.

Today they make a remarkable decorative statement, whether displayed against a wall, incorporated into an interior, used as sliding feature doors, or repurposed as architectural wall art.

No restoration has been undertaken. Every layer of worn paint, mark and imperfection forms part of the doors' genuine history and has been intentionally preserved.
