Installation

This fountain is supplied as a modular architectural assembly consisting of individual components, including the pedestal, lower shelf, basin and decorative backplate.

Due to its substantial weight and construction, professional installation by an experienced stonemason, landscape contractor or builder specialising in masonry work is essential.

The pedestal and basin are assembled to form the supporting structure, while the decorative backplate should be securely fixed independently to a suitable masonry wall using appropriate mechanical fixings selected for the supporting substrate. A small clearance between the basin and backplate may be incorporated during installation, allowing for secure fixing while replicating the appearance of traditional European wall fountains.

The installer should determine the most appropriate fixing system for the site conditions and supporting structure.

All plumbing connections should be completed by a licensed plumber.

Suitable for year-round outdoor use. Clean periodically using water and a soft brush. Avoid harsh acidic or abrasive cleaners. Like traditional European stone, the surface will naturally weather over time, developing additional character and a soft aged patina.

As each piece is handcrafted, subtle variations in colour, texture and small surface pinholes are an inherent characteristic of the casting process and contribute to the authentic appearance of the fountain.
